Voigtländer Fuji X 35mm F2.0 Macro APO-Ultron
For focusing, the lens employs a front-focusing system in which the front four groups of six elements are moved together. This method enables the lens to shorten the extension length which is difficult to achieve within a motor in an auto-focus lens.
The aperture blades consist of 10 elements with a 1/3-step click stop that takes into account the shape of the bokeh. The aperture mechanism uses an aperture ring directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades, similar to the mechanism used in the Voigtländer VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses.
The minimum focusing distance is 16.3 cm (1:2 magnification), and the working distance from the subject is 6 cm with the hood attached.
In addition to the shallow focusing effect in close-up photography, the large bokeh, characteristic of large-aperture macro photography, expands the possibilities for creative image making.
Since this lens has image quality that can be used with confidence, regardless of the distance to the subject, it is recommended not only for macro photography, but also for the purpose of a single focal length lens. A compact, dedicated straight screw-in hood is included.
