The Macro Apo-Lanthar is a high-performance macro lens
designed for modern, high-resolution sensors in E-mount
full-frame cameras.

Starting from its widest aperture, the image quality is excellent.
10 aperture blades create a pleasant bokeh ideal for the
creative photographer. Its optical construction guarantees
top lens performance from infinity down to its maximum
magnification ratio of 1:2.

Three colored lines on the lens indicate the lens apochromatic
(corrected for three colors) design, which practically eliminates
all chromatic aberrations. The lens` electronic contacts transmit
correct Exif data to the camera for full use of the camera`s
advanced functions, such as focus magnification and 5-axis
image stabilization. The Exif data are also valuable during
image evaluation and post-processing.
